Kurogaki Netsuke of a Rat
Quite large, and slightly roughly carved, but with vigour and character. The rat chews on an acorn, its tail sweeping beneath it in a figure of eight, showing the influence of Masanao of Kyoto and of Okatomo. The eyes are of pale wood
